S. S. City of Milwaukee

    S.S. City of Milwaukee

The steam ship S.S. City of Milwaukee is a National Historic Landmark as well as a member of the Historic Naval Ship Association. Built at the beginning of the Great Depression, the S.S. City of Milwaukee shuttled rail cars across Lake Michigan for over fifty years. This floating museum is currently moored in Manistee, Michigan and is open to the public. For more information, grab a copy of my photo essay "Last Ark of the Railroad".
